Samsung S2 portable hard drive is now updated with a USB 3.0 interface and 7,200RPM spindle speed.
The S2 Portable 3.0 now offers a maximum transfer rate of 5 gigabits per second (Gbps) compared to the 480 megabits per second (Mbps) in the previous USB 2.0 version. It also features a low vibration Dynamic Balancing technology and low noise technologies for added convenience. The portable HDD even comes in a reduced size for a more efficient power consumption and loaded with preloaded software for data back-up, data encryption, and password protection.
The Samsung S2 Portable 3.0 is available in 320GB and 640GB capacities.
